Configuration control and evidence for every unit.
Low volumes, long cycles and strict quality requirements leave no margin for undocumented manual work. Arkite guides each step against the released configuration and records how every unit was built.

What we hear from aerospace and defense manufacturers.
Operators search through procedures, drawings and revisions to find the right step.
Information overload
In a long assembly, a missed step is hidden once the next layer is fitted.
Long cycle times
A configuration built twice a year is easy to confuse with a similar one.
Variant confusion
Our customer expects proof of who did each step, with which tool and which result.
Evidence per unit
Four challenges in aerospace and defense, and what changes with Arkite.
01Only the approved version reaches the floor.
- Today
- Operators work from large sets of procedures and revisions, and outdated instructions cause errors.
- With Arkite
- Jobs go through draft, review and production, and only approvers can release them. Every version is kept, and the right configuration loads per unit.
02No step skipped, however long the sequence.
- Today
- In long sequences focus drops, and a missed step disappears under the next layer.
- With Arkite
- A 3D sensor confirms every pick and action and its order. The next step only starts after a correct action.
03Every fastener at the right torque, and proven.
- Today
- Fastening must be done with the right tool and torque, and proven afterwards.
- With Arkite
- Smart tools only work at the right step and position. The torque is confirmed before moving on and stored per serial number.
04A complete record per serial number, on your own server.
- Today
- Records must show who did each step, when and with what result, and data must stay on site.
- With Arkite
- Every step, check result, operator, time and torque value is stored per serial number. All data stays on your own server, without internet.
The topics that matter, and what Arkite does for each.
- Configuration control
Only users with the Approver role release a job to Production, and a full version history is kept.
- Serial number traceability
Every step, validation result, operator, time and torque value stored per serial number, with optional product snapshots.
- Torque records
Smart tool program selected per step, torque confirmed before moving on and logged per unit.
- On-premises data
All project and production data on your own server or private cloud. Arkite VISION AI runs locally; AI job generation is optional and disabled by default.
- Low volume, high complexity
Rarely built configurations follow the same released, validated method as common ones.

Questions from aerospace and defense teams
Can Arkite run without a cloud connection?
Yes. The Arkite server runs on premises or in your private cloud, and all project and production data stays there. Optional AI job generation and translation require an internet connection and are disabled by default. Arkite VISION AI detections run locally.
How does Arkite handle long assemblies?
Long sequences are structured in numbered steps and sub-assemblies, and variant-specific steps appear only when they apply. Each step is validated before the next starts, so the operator always knows where they are in the process.
