Startup of the year: Arkite NV

For the first time, HBVL is presenting the Startup of the Year award. After a selection period by the stakeholders of Limburg Startup, a shortlist was evaluated by the independent jury, including Herman Daems. Startup Arkite nv, only established and housed in 2015 at the C-mine Crib incubator in Genk, came out as the winner.

The people of Arkite will probably have to move soon, because they will be 15 by the beginning of next year. “And we are still looking for extra people,” says co-founder Ives De Saeger of the technology company, who has the wind in his sails with his “virtual operator’s guardian angel.” The ten jury members of the “Limburg entrepreneur of the Year” selected this start-up for the first title “Limburg start-up of the Year”.
